March Prayer Letter
Praise the Lord for His many blessings! God has allowed us to see people saved, baptized and become charter members of the church. Just this past Sunday we saw 4 people follow the Lord in believer's baptism. It was an encouragement to see people who just recently have accepted Christ that are so excited to follow and serve the Lord!
A few weeks ago three young men preached at the Grace Baptist Church and then 2 young men preached at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Others shared their testimony or sang a special. What a blessing it is to see the Lord work in hearts and get people excited about serving Him!
In the last week of February, we had a "Family camp" for both churches. We rented a campground and had 3 great days of lessons, sports, preaching, fellowship and allowing the Lord to work in lives. There were over 50 people and the Lord gave us a wonderful time. Many young people surrendered to let God work in their lives and said they wanted their lives to count for Him.
On March 8, we will be starting classes in the Macedonia Baptist Institute. At the moment there are 13 young men and 5 ladies. This will be a full time college to study and prepare for the Lord's work. They will be studying every day from 8:30 to 12:30 for 3 semesters. After completing their studies here in La Plata, they will be finishing in the Peru Bible College in Arequipa, Peru. The goal is to train and equip young men and ladies that will take the Gospel first to Argentina and then to South America and to the world. We would like to share with you one of the many testimonies of someone who recently accepted Christ. Alberto and Etelvina walked into the Lighthouse Baptist Church for their first service on January 18, 2005. After hearing the preaching, Alberto raised his hand to find out more about going to Heaven. That same evening he accepted Christ and began growing and becoming faithful to the church. He was given a Bible and began to read it daily. A few weeks later on February 28, he followed the Lord in believer's baptism. He began helping in everything possible in the church and this Saturday, he put a tie on to pass out tracts. Amen for what the Lord is doing in and through his life. We want to thank each and every one for their faithful prayers and support. We truly believe that without your prayers, we would not be able to see the hand of the Lord as clearly and strongly as He is showing. We would also like to invite you to come visit us sometime.
