August 2005

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord has been doing many things and allowing us to see His hand here in Argentina.  In July we finished our first semester of the Macedonia Baptist Institute (a full-time, 4 hour a day institute).  Fourteen students finished the semester and are on winter break for a month before we start back up with the second semester.  We are anticipating many blessings of the Lord and great results as we approach the second semester for training young people to take God's Word all through Argentina. 

During the short time of winter break here in Argentina, we are staying busy trying to begin new ministries and strengthen those ministries the Lord has already given.  A group from both Lighthouse Baptist Church of La Plata and Grace Baptist Church in Quilmes made a trip to the northern part of Argentina for a Christian camp.  They will be teaching, preaching, and participating in the many activities in order to reach many people with the Gospel. 

In the month of August we will be hosting a group from the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus, GA with their pastor Marty Wynn.  They will be coming to see and participate in the work here in Argentina.  As many have already visited and others are planning, we would like you to consider making a trip to the field of Argentina.  There are many areas in which you can help while you are here.  If you would like to know more, please write us at bush@reachingall.com

Some of the latest blessings the Lord has given us are: people saved, new people visit the churches, a radio station giving us a weekly “commercial” time to invite people to the church, spiritual growth in the lives of church people and institute students, many answered prayers, and much more.

During the month of September we will be having our first National Youth Congress of Argentina.  Bro. Austin Gardner and a group from the States will be coming to help during this very important time.  Our goal is to bring youth from all parts of Argentina and share the vision of reaching our country with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Please remember to pray that God uses this event to further the Gospel here in the needy country of Argentina.
